The addition of dos^{R644K.hs.2sev} rescues the lethality of dos^R31 but the eye phenotype remains. The addition of dos^{R644K.hs.2sev} rescues the lethality of dos^R31/dos^P115 and the eye phenotype is less pronounced than those seen in a homozygous dos^R31 background.
