Detailed Description
Statement

Embryos from homozygous female germline clones show a reduction of posterior Filzkorper and segment A8, as well as mild defects in the anterior head skeleton in 40% of cases. The remaining embryos show no externally visible defects, except a lack of Malpighian tubules.

dosR31/dosP115 transheterozygotes are lethal. Repeated heat shock induction of P{sE-dos} during development is sufficient to rescue the lethality of dosR31 and dosP115 homozygotes and dosR31/dosP115 transheterozygotes. Mitotic clones in the eye rarely differentiate photoreceptor cells. In the wing clonal cells are unable to differentiate vein structures. Embryos derived from germline clones exhibit very distinct defects in the terminal structures, they rarely differentiate filzkorper and the abdominal segment A8 is frequently affected and the head skeleton is reduced in size.

Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

dosP115 partially suppresses the phenotype of embryos derived from tor13D/+ females. 85% of embryos derived from dosP115 ShcBG double mutant female germline clones lack all structures posterior to segment A7 and have reduced head skeletons. The remaining 15% retain segment A8 but no structures posterior to it. Embryos derived from dosP115 drkΔP24 double mutant female germline clones have a stronger phenotype than embryos derived from either single mutant female germline clone.

Fails to suppress the mutant eye phenotype of Ras85DV12.

Xenogenetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

The addition of dos::Hsap\GAB1hs.T:Avic\GFP to dosP115 homozygotes or dosP115/dosR31 flies leads to the recovery of fully viable flies.

Comments

"FBti0015029 == P{lacW}dosP115" was stated as revision.

Mobilisation of the P-element insertion reverts the lethality and suppression of sevS11.T:Hsap\MYC.
