      Expression of spinScer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL completely rescues bouton numbers to wild type in spin10403/spink09905 animals. Expression of spinScer\UAS.cSa under the control of Scer\GAL4Mhc.PW or Scer\GAL4elav.PLu partially rescues bouton numbers in spin10403/spink09905 animals. The reduction in quantal content at the neuromuscular junction seen in spin10403/spink09905 animals is rescued by expression of spinScer\UAS.cSa under the control of either Scer\GAL4Mhc.PW or Scer\GAL4elav.PLu. Adult viability is restored to 100% in these animals.
