Expression of Act5C^{Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP} in founder cells under the control of Scer\GAL4^kirre-rP298 does not result in the production of actin enriched structures on the founder cell membrane.

Expression of Act5C^{Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP} under the control of Scer\GAL4^slbo.2.6 increases the frequency and length of the long cellular extensions from the border follicle cell cluster that are seen at the beginning of migration. Border cell migration is inhibited in these mutants.
