Reference

Homozygous males show a significantly reduced courtship index towards females under red light compared to sibling heterozygous and wild-type controls. Courtship latency is normal in the homozygous males, but the mating latency towards wild-type females is increased in the homozygous males compared to that seen in control males. The increased mating latency is not dependent on the mating trial, but as the number of mating attempts is increased, the mating success (as measured by the act of copulation) is significantly reduced compared to heterozygous controls. Mating duration is normal.
