Expression of Mmus\Neurog1Scer\UAS.cQa driven by Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 does not lead to neurogenesis (no ectopic sensory organ precursors) in third instar larval wing discs.

Mmus\Neurog1Scer\UAS.cQa; Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 flies have occasional ectopic bristles on their wings, but never have ectopic chordotonal organs. (Note: This phenotype is insertion dependent. It has only been seen in 7/23 lines tested, with a maximum penetrance of 70%.) Late stage Mmus\Neurog1Scer\UAS.cQa; Scer\GAL4da.G32 embryos do not have ectopic neurons.
