ScerGAL4^{Rbfox1-EN403-GAL4} drives expression in the same pattern as Rbfox1. ScerGAL4^{Rbfox1-EN403-GAL4} drives expression in all imaginal discs. In the wing disc, expression is observed in the wing pouch and in myoblast cells (adepithelial cells) of the presumptive notum. ScerGAL4^{Rbfox1-EN403-GAL4} drives expression in the central regions of the antennal and leg discs, and in cells posterior to the morphogenetic furrow in the eye disc.ScerGAL4^{Rbfox1-EN403-GAL4} also drives expression in the CNS, PNS, and pericardial cells starting at the extended germ band stages of embryogenesis through larval stages, and in larval trachea and muscle cells.

ScerGAL4^{Rbfox1-EN403-GAL4} drives expression in the wing pouch, where it is excluded from the dorsal/ventral compartment boundary, and in the posterior compartment of the presumptive capitellum (haltere pouch), where it is also excluded from the dorsal/ventral compartment boundary.
