      hpoKC203 eyes are missing yR8 photoreceptor cells and contain an expansion of the pR8 subset.

      hpoKC203 mutants exhibit 'overgrowth' phenotypes. The adult head is enlarged, with larger eyes and an expanded, fold cuticle found on the head and antennae.
