UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
lethal, with Scer\GAL4c179
lethal, with Scer\GAL4G7
Expression of Tgs1GD14932 under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR, Scer\GAL4elav.PU or Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cUa (all with or without Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cUa to enhance RNAi efficiency) or any of the following: Scer\GAL4c179, Scer\GAL4how-24B, Scer\GAL4G7, Scer\GAL4insc-Mz1407, Scer\GAL4da.PU or Scer\GAL41032.hx (all without Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cUa) reduces adult viability to a varying degree (up to a point of complete lethality in some cases) at both 25[o] and 29[o]C with more severe effects being observed at the higher temperature.
Adults expressing Tgs1GD14932 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.
Gem3ΔN.UAS, Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR, Tgs1GD14932 has abnormal flight | progressive phenotype
Expression of Tgs1GD14932 together with Gem3ΔN.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR leads to age-progressive flight defects.
Tgs1GD14932 is rescued by Scer\GAL41032.hx/Tgs1UAS.ORF.GW.Tag:HA
Co-expression of Tgs1Scer\UAS.ORF.GW.T:Ivir\HA1 rescues the lethality of flies expressing Tgs1GD14932 under the control of Scer\GAL41032.hx.
