Detailed Description
Statement

Adults expressing egrGD12658 under the control of Scer\GAL4ppl.PP are resistant to starvation.

The expression of egrGD12658 under the control of either Scer\GAL4hh-Gal4 or Scer\GAL4Hml.Δ does not lead to any obvious phenotype in the wing disc, as compared to controls.

Adults expressing egrGD12658 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Flies co-expressing egrScer\UAS.cMa and egrGD12658 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF display normal eyes.

Additional Comments
Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Expression of egrGD12658 does not suppress the increase in circulating lamellocytes seen when ND75GD6309 is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4Antp-10.

Expression of egrGD12658 under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU does not affect the reduction in l(2)gl4 mutant wing disc clone size compared with controls.

Xenogenetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Co-expression of egrGD12658 partially suppresses the increased cell death in the brain, the climbing defects, and the shortened lifespan seen in Ecc15-infected flies expressing Hsap\APPAβ42.Scer\UAS.cBa under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155.

Complementation and Rescue Data
Comments

The dot-like malformed adult eye phenotype seen in flies expressing egrScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PFa can be fully restored by co-expression of egrGD12658 RNAi.
