Scer\GAL469B-mediated expression of trrGD4501 leads to insignificant changes in the number of circulating hemocytes at the 'clear gut' third instar larval stage.

Scer\GAL4C-765-mediated expression of trrGD4501 results in shortened longitudinal and cross veins.

Knockdown of trr through expression of trrGD4501 under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 causes a mild phenotype consisting of a mild loss of wing veins and mild upward curvature of the wing.

Adults expressing trrGD4501 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Co-expression of trrGD4501 suppresses the ectopic wing vein phenotype of LptScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1, Scer\GAL4C-765 flies, though the trrGD4501, Scer\GAL4C-765 shortened wing vein phenotype persists.

Co-expression of trrGD4501 with G9aScer\UAS.cKa overexpression (both under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096) results in fully penetrant pupal lethality resulting from necrosis of the entire developing wing tissue.
