Expression of SmoxScer\UAS.cGa under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 increases the average wing size to 116%. There are no wing pattern defects even when four copies of SmoxScer\UAS.cGa are expressed.
SmoxUAS.cGa has wing vein phenotype, enhanceable by Scer\GAL4A9/baboQ302D.UAS
SmoxUAS.cGa has wing vein phenotype, enhanceable by Scer\GAL4A9/ActβCM.UAS
SmoxUAS.cGa has wing vein phenotype, suppressible by Scer\GAL4A9/myoUAS.cGa
SmoxUAS.cGa has wing phenotype, suppressible by Scer\GAL4A9/myoUAS.cGa
SmoxUAS.cGa has wing phenotype, suppressible by Scer\GAL4A9/dawUAS.cGa
SmoxUAS.cGa has wing vein phenotype, suppressible by Scer\GAL4A9/dawUAS.cGa
Scer\GAL4A9/SmoxUAS.cGa is an enhancer of wing vein phenotype of baboQ302D.UAS
Co-expression of baboQ302D.Scer\UAS and four copies of SmoxScer\UAS.cGa (under the control of Scer\GAL4A9) results in a small increase in ectopic wing vein formation. No additional wing growth is observed.
Co-expression of myoglianinScer\UAS.cGa with SmoxScer\UAS.cGa, both under the control of Scer\GAL4A9, suppreses the ectopic vein formation of SmoxScer\UAS.cGa overexpression. The size of the wing remains normal.
Co-expression of ActβCM.Scer\UAS and SmoxScer\UAS.cGa, both under the control of Scer\GAL4A9 results in mild levels of ectopic wing vein formation.
Co-expression of dawScer\UAS.cGa and SmoxScer\UAS.cGa, under the control of Scer\GAL4A9, results in a significant decrease in wing size to 90% compared to females expressing SmoxScer\UAS.cGa alone. In addition, ectopic wing vein formation observed in wings expressing SmoxScer\UAS.cGa is reduced upon co-expression with dawScer\UAS.cGa.
