The Malpighian tubules deformities characteristic for BicC5 homozygous mutant adults are partially rescued by expression of MycJF01762 under the combined control of Scer\GAL4c42 and Scer\GAL4tsh-c724 drivers: the incidence of cysts is significantly reduced in the terminal and in the proximal tubule, the tubular swelling and the irregular distribution of cell nuclei is also reduced compared to controls.
