scolopidium (with drk14-7)
drk6/drk14-7 and drk6/drke0A transheterozygotes exhibit disorganized scolopidia (as revealed by phalloidin staining, which labels cap rods, scolopale rods, and the actin bundles within the cilia of the mechanosensory neurons). drk6/drk14-7 transheterozygotes also exhibit severely reduced climbing activity, suggesting defects in gravity sensing.
drk6 exhibits a rough eye phenotype when combined with strong loss-of-function alleles.
