    Heterozygosity for Glyatc02982 partially suppresses both the eye-related phenotypes (i.e. increased apoptosis at the morphogenetic furrow of the third instar larval eye disc and the decreased eye size in adults) and the wing-related phenotypes (i.e. increased apoptosis around the anterior-posterior compartment boundary of the third instar larval wing disc and the highly penetrant anterior crossvein loss in the adult wing) resulting from the expression of egrGS9830 or hepCA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU (eye phenotypes) or Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 (wing phenotypes) and partially suppresses the increased apoptosis around the anterior-posterior compartment boundary of the third instar larval wing disc resulting from the expression of either pucGD1515 or l(2)glGD4047 under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1, but does not suppress the small eye phenotype resulting from the expression of p53Scer\UAS.Ex under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU.
