Expression of Rok^KK107802 under the control of Scer\GAL4^Bx-MS1096 results in central wing blisters.

Inhibition of Rok, through expression of Rok^GD1522 under the control of Scer\GAL4^Hml.Δ, results in giant multinucleated cells. Some of these giant cells contain up to six nuclei, suggesting that cytokinesis defects occur early during larval development when macrophages colonize hematopoietic niches in the larval body wall.
