Scer\GAL4tj-NP1624-mediated expression abolishes cyst encapsulation and results in germline cysts completely lacking an epithelium. Affected ovarioles look like tubes in which naked cysts pile up.

Expression of Cdc42KK108698 post-synaptically under the control of Scer\GAL4C57 results in an increase in synaptic growth.

Expression of Cdc42KK108698 in neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 increases the overall synaptic bouton, satellite bouton number and total neuromuscular junction length.
