        Marker expression is not observed in the germarium but is observed from oogenesis stage 2 in the anterior polar follicle cells and stalk (interfollicle) cells. As oogenesis proceeds, expression is observed in anterior follicle cells as well as a subset of posterior follicle cells and in border cell clusters. Expression overlaps that of Stat92E and apt in border follicle cell clusters at stage S8.
