The majority of the primary and secondary dendrites remain attached to the ddaC soma at 18h APF and 24h APF compared with white prepupae in Sox14^Δ13/Sox14^Δ15 and Sox14^Δ15/Df(2R)or-BR11 mutants, indicating no dendritic pruning has occurred.

Homozygous Sox14^Δ15 MARCM ddaC clones exhibit a strong dendrite pruning phenotype 18h APF.
