      Expression of zfh2dsRNA.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4esg.PU (in combination with tub-Gal80[ts] to restrict expression to the adult stage) leads to a decrease in the cell and nuclear size of both enteroblasts and intestinal stem cells in adult guts when compared to controls.

      Adult escapers driving two copies of zfh2dsRNA.Scer\UAS with Scer\GAL4LP30 do not expand their wings. The wings show large deletions in the wing hinge, display disruptions of the remaining tissue and have few identifiable sclerites.
