The expression of gcmJF01075 under the control of either Scer\GAL4lz-gal4 or Scer\GAL4gcm-rA87.P, the intrinsic Gal4 from the gcmrA87.P allele, results in a significant decrease in the number of secretory cells in adult spermatheca, but in no obvious defect in lumen epithelial cells, as compared to controls.
