The eyes of flies expressing thScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC.cBa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF are similar in size to controls.

Overexpression of BacA\p35Scer\UAS.cHa in presynaptic neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4OK6 has no obvious effect on synapse elimination.

Overexpression of BacA\p35Scer\UAS.cHa in postsynaptic neurons under the control of Scer\GAL4C57 results in strong arrest of synapse elimination at 9 hours after puparium formation.

The co-expression of Diap1Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC.cBa partially suppresses the severe decrease in size and the severe increase in apoptosis induced in the third instar wing disc posterior compartment by the expression of domeΔCYT.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E.

Expression of thScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC.cBa almost completely restores the eye phenotypes seen when rprScer\UAS.cZa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF at 29[o]C. Eye size is 98% of control and no roughness or other morphological abnormalities are observed. The loss of viability seen in flies expressing rprScer\UAS.cZa is rescued upon co-expression of thScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC.cBa.

When thScer\UAS.cBa is over-expressed in the wing disc under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU from first instar larval stage (by heat-shock induction to inactivate Scer\GAL80αTub84B.PL), Stat92E397 mutant clones take up 7.7% of the wing pouch after x-irradiation treatment (5,000 rads daily for 3 days). Low levels of cell death are observed.
