Expression of Rab11S25N.Scer\UAS in border cells under the control of Scer\GAL4c306 leads to a strong migration block.

Expression of Rab11S25N.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4slbo.2.6 slightly reduces the volume distribution of sec15-positive structures at the leading edge of border cells.

Embryos expressing Rab11S25N.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 show a loss of epidermal integrity reflected in the crumbled cuticle laid by these embryos.

Expression of Rab11S25N.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4c381 does not impair epidermal cell elongation during dorsal closure stages, although zippering is defective. Dorsal closure is completed in these embryos.

Expression of Rab11S25N.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E impairs epidermal elongation during dorsal closure stages and results in a delay in the advancement of the leading edge towards the dorsal midline, which eventually stalls. This results in embryos with deep ectopic segmental grooves and a large dorsal hole in the cuticle.

Expression of Rab11S25N.Scer\UAS in the eye disc under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF causes lamina cartridge neuron differentiation defects in third instar larvae. R8 photoreceptor differentiation is unaffected. The resulting eye are small and rough.

Expression of Rab11S25N.Scer\UAS in R8 photoreceptors under the control of Scer\GAL4sca-537.4 results in missing photoreceptors and misrotated ommatidia but lamina cartridge neuron differentiation is unaffected.
