Scer\GAL4Gr28b.a.3 drives expression of Gr28b isoform a.

Scer\GAL4Gr28b.a.3 is expressed in gustatory neurons of all of the bitter-sensitive small labellar taste bristles, and in gustatory neurons of the four posterior-most intermediate labellar taste bristles.

Scer\GAL4Gr28a.PT expresses the isoform Gr28b-RA which is found in all of the short and in a few of the intermediate bitter-sensitive sensilla of the labellum.

Scer\GAL4Gr28a.PT is expressed in all of the short and in a few of the intermediate bitter-sensitive sensilla of the labellum.

Scer\GAL4Gr28b.a.3 drives expression in one gustatory receptor neuron of the larval terminal organ and in one neuron of the dorsal pharyngeal sense organ (DPS or epiphysis). The dorsal organ neuron also expresses Scer\GAL4Gr33a.4.7, Scer\GAL4Gr66a.1.8, Scer\GAL4Gr32a.3.7.PW, Scer\GAL4Gr39a.a.3.4, Scer\GAL4Gr39a.b.1, Scer\GAL4Gr59d.4.1, Scer\GAL4Gr9a.6.3, Scer\GAL4Gr22e.2.5, Scer\GAL4Gr22a.4.2, Scer\GAL4Gr28b.e.4.245, Scer\GAL4Gr36b.0.9, Scer\GAL4Gr36c.2.5, Scer\GAL4Gr58b.1, Scer\GAL4Gr59a.1.5, Scer\GAL4Gr59c.5.5 and Scer\GAL4Gr93b.5.3.

Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Ablation of Scer\GAL4Gr28b.a.3-expressing neurons does not affect sensitivity to (S,Z,Z)-CH503 (a more potent stereoisomer of the gustatory sex pheromone CH503). As in wild type flies, courtship defects are seen in response to (S,Z,Z)-CH503.
