      ScerGAL4GMR59C10 drives expression mainly in antennal mechanosensory and motor center B1 projection neuron, but also drives expression in large population of medullary neurons, approximately 6 neurons in the posterior brain, some of the adult ALv1 lineage neurons, and in 6-8 lineages in the thoracico-abdominal ganglion of 4-8 cells each.

      Inhibition (using shi1.UAS at 30[o]C) of Scer\GAL4GMR59C10 neurons in adult females significantly reduces receptivity to mating, compared to controls; in males, courtship pulse song-induced locomotion is significantly reduced, compared to controls.

      Thermogenetic activation (using TrpA1UAS.(B).cKa at 27[o]C) of Scer\GAL4GMR59C10 neurons in adult females significantly reduces receptivity to mating, compared to controls.
