Inhibition (using shi1.UAS at 30[o]C) of Scer\GAL4GMR59C10 neurons in adult females significantly reduces receptivity to mating, compared to controls; in males, courtship pulse song-induced locomotion is significantly reduced, compared to controls.
Thermogenetic activation (using TrpA1UAS.(B).cKa at 27[o]C) of Scer\GAL4GMR59C10 neurons in adult females significantly reduces receptivity to mating, compared to controls.
