Expression of upd3Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4Myo31DF-NP0001 (using tub-gal80[ts] to limit the time of expression) increases cell proliferation in the adult gut.

Ectopic expression of upd3Scer\UAS.cMa in intestinal stem cells (ISCs) under the control of Scer\GAL4esg-NP5130 and Scer\GAL80ts.αTub84B strongly increased both the mitotic index and intestinal epithelium renewal.
