Expression of TER94Scer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4VGlut-OK371 has no effect on viability. Locomotor behaviour is normal and no defects are seen in neuromuscular junction morphology in third instar larvae.

Expression of TER94Scer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4ey.PH or Scer\GAL4GMR.PF does not have any strong adult eye phenotype.

Expression of TER94Scer\UAS.cRa in the developing eye under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF generates a mild rough eye phenotype but the flies still have a highly organised ommatidial array.
