Scer\GAL4^e22c-mediated expression of pbl^{DH-PH.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1} results in 57.3% embryonic lethality with 49% of embryos showing some loss of naked cuticle on the ventral side.

Expression of pbl^{DH-PH.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1} in the mesoderm of stage 8 embryos under the control of the Scer\GAL4^twi.2PE and Scer\GAL4^Mef2.PR drivers results in defects in mesoderm migration. No defects in cytokinesis are observed.

Expression of pbl^{DH-PH.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1} in the eye under the control of the Scer\GAL4^GMR.PU driver results in a rough eye phenotype with reduced eye size and highly abnormal ommatidial structures.
