        ScerGAL4GSGB8-2 drives primarily mifepristone-inducible neuronal expression. Weak expression is observed in the mushroom bodies and in a small number of CNS cells in the ventral nerve cord and the brain. Expression is also observed in chordotonal organs, tracheal cells, epidermal cells, oenocytes, and the ring gland. There is moderate uninduced expression in tracheal cells surrounding the anterior spiracles, and in a peripheral structure, possibly enclosing newly formed tracheal branches.
