Expressing ELOVL^HMC03112 under the control of either Scer\GAL4^sim.P3.7 or Scer\GAL4^elav.PLu results in holes in the retina and the loss of pigment cells. On the contrary, expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^repo has no effect on retinal morphology.
