The expression of Nhe2^HMC03243 under the control of Scer\GAL4^109-30 leads to frequent germarium defects including cyst encapsulation defects and/or disorganized follicular epithelium, loss of germline stem cells, and signs of stalk cells mis-differentiation (i.e. ectopic expression of Eya), as compared to controls.
