Expression of cnoUAS.GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL in somatic clones of pupal retina leads to excessive numbers of lattice cells at some edges and loss of cells at others different than controls.
Expression of cnoScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP, under the neuroepithelia-specific driver Scer\GAL4C855a results in changes in the proneural wave progression in the optic lobe. The proneural wave appears delayed compared to control flies, with the concomitant decrease in the differentiation of medulla neuroblasts.
Expression of cnoScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP in the glia (under the control of Scer\GAL4repo.PU) leads to a significant decrease in the number of repo-positive and phospho-His3-positive cells (indicative of mitosis), compared to control optic lobes.
