      Comments

      Global expression of dmtScer\UAS.N.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU significantly rescues the salivary duct and trachea gap phenotypes seen in homozygous dmt3999 mutant embryos. Trachea and duct-specific expression under the control of Scer\GAL4btl.PU rescues the defects in the duct and trachea. Expression in the peripheral nervous system (PNS) under the control of Scer\GAL4sens.PU or Scer\GAL4elav.PU rescues the PNS and salivary duct defects, but gaps are still observed in the trachea.
