Homozygous adults show significantly reduced ability in a climbing assay compared to controls and only 5% of adults can fly.

Homozygous third instar larvae show a significant reduction in branch length and the number of both type Ib and Is boutons at neuromuscular junction (NMJ) 6/7 compared to controls (significant differences to controls are not seen at NMJ 4).

The ddaE dendritic arborization neurons show a significant reduction in the number of dendritic branches in homozygous third instar larvae.
