Third instar larval neuroblasts expressing Wdr62Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\dendGFP-Dendra2 driven by Scer\GAL4wor.PU are less sensitive to cold, responding with a decreased number of depolymerized microtubules during interphase and increased microtubule regrowth following cold exposure compared to wild type.
Expression of Wdr62Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\dendGFP-Dendra2 driven by Scer\GAL4wor.PU rescues the centrosome asymmetry phenotype (weaker microtubule intensity on maturing centrosome and metaphase spindles) seen in Wdr62Δ2a/Df(2L)Exel8005 third instar larval neuroblasts.
