      Adulthood expression of S6kCA.UAS.cUa under the combined control of Scer\GAL4NP0001 and Gal80[ts], induced by shifting adults to 29[o]C for 2 days before the experiment, leads to a significant increase in lipid droplets (ie number, size and relative cellular content) in the adult midgut, as compared to controls.

      Expression of S6kCA.Scer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PU (in combination with a Gal80[ts] transgene to restrict expression to the adult stage) results in reduced sensitivity to ethanol-induced sedation, and no change in overall locomotor activity, as compared to controls.
