      Flies homozygous mutant for any of the following: Vha557e1, Vha5514 and Vha559, which are also expressing Vha55Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.PU (rescue flies) are viable and their Malphigian tubules show normal resting secretion rates but reduced maximum stimulation fluid secretion.
