The expression of LamCScer\UAS.cLa under the control of Scer\GAL4Mhc.PW in LamCunspecified heterozygotes results in no defects in dorsal longitudinal indirect flight muscles - i.e. defects in myofibril morphology, sarcomere organization, mitochondria morphology, relative mitochondria volume or electron density of mitochondria in electron microscopy images, or the presence of abnormal cytoplasmic polyubiquitin aggregates - and in no obvious flight defects, as shown by insignificant differences in landing height, as compared to controls.
The expression of LamCScer\UAS.cLa under the control of Scer\GAL4BG487 in either LamCunspecified heterozygotes or LamCEX265/LamCEX296 transheterozygotes does not induce significant abnormal nuclear lamina blebs in third instar larval muscles 6 and 7, as compared to controls.
The expression of LamCScer\UAS.cLa under the control of Scer\GAL4Mhc.PW suppresses the increased proportion of 'ghost' neuromuscular junctions observed in LamCEX265/LamCEX296 transheterozygous third instar larval muscles 6 and 7.
