Comments

The lethality of any of the following mutants: cnk^63F, cnk^k16314, cnk^116C, cnk^14C/Df(2R)BSC161, cnk^sag13L/Df(2R)BSC161, cnk^sag32-3/Df(2R)BSC161 or cnk^sag13L/cnk^sag32-3 (but not cnk^sag13L or cnk^sag32-3 homozygotes) is rescued by combination with cnk^fTRG1248 but the adult cnk^63F;cnk^fTRG1248 cnk^sag13L/cnk^sag32-3;cnk^fTRG1248 rescue flies display rough eye phenotype. The lethality of cnk^14C homozygous mutants is only partially rescued: some flies survive to adulthood but most die at the pupal stage.
