The expression of spz5UAS.cUBa under the control of Scer\GAL4Mhc.PU leads to significant increases in the axonal length, in the total number of terminal boutons, in the number of terminal branches and in the number of active zones at the larval NMJ, as compared to controls. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Toll-6-D42 also leads to a significant increase in the number of active zones at the larval NMJ, as compared to controls.
