HIPP1Δ37/HIPP1ΔDsR and HIPP1Δ37/Df(3L)BSC452 transheterozygosity does not affect egg production.

HIPP1Δ37/HIPP1ΔDsR ovaries carried all stages of oogenesis with only low levels of apoptosis of mid-stage egg chambers.

HIPP1Δ37/HIPP1ΔDsR testes show no apparent defects.

Flies carrying one copy of T(2;3)SbV frequently display a mosaic thoracic bristle phenotype, wherein bristles are both short and long, a phenotype that is unaffected by one copy of HIPP1Δ37.

HIPP1Δ37/+, su(Hw)e04061/+, as well as HIPP1Δ37/HIPP1ΔDsR, su(Hw)2/+, all showed normal oogenesis and egg production. The mid-oogenesis apoptosis observed in su(Hw)2/su(Hw)e04061 transheterozygotes is not suppressed by HIPP1Δ37/HIPP1ΔDsR.

HIPP1Δ37/+, su(Hw)e04061/+ males are fertile.
