REDfly cis-regulatory modules (CRMs) are imported into FlyBase as "regulatory_region" features. With each update, new features are added and coordinates for existing features are updated as necessary. For each CRM, the coordinates, associated gene, associated construct, publications, REDfly synonym and REDfly ID are obtained. These CRMs are grouped under the FlyBase "REDfly_CRMs" collection (FBlc0000493), and shown in the "Transcriptional Regulatory Regions (REDfly)" JBrowse track. The majority of "regulatory_region" features in FlyBase are derived from REDfly. Features at FlyBase that are no longer classified as a CRM by REDfly are dissociated from the REDfly_CRMs collection. Date updated: 20260217 REDfly version: v9.7.0
