New DGRC cell lines are occasionally ready for distribution while the research article that describes them is still in press. In such cases, this personal communication in FlyBase is used as a temporary placeholder, so that the cell line can be listed on the DGRC website and at FlyBase. Once the research article that describes the cell line is published, that publication will be substituted for this personal communication.
