Drives mifepristone-inducible expression in intestinal stem cells and enteroblasts in adults, and midgut imaginal islands in larvae.

ScerGAL4bun-GSG5961 drives mifepristone-inducible expression in adult intestinal stem cells.

ScerGAL4bun-GSG5961 drives mifepristone-inducible expression primarily in neurons. Weak expression is observed in 2-5 lateral cells/hemisegment in the ventral nerve cord. Strong expression is obversed in a small ventral cluster of neurons in the brain that form projections surrounding the brain midline. Moderate expression is observed in the optic lobe primodia; weak expression is observed in a few scattered cells that may be glia. In the PNS, strong expression is observed in class I dendritic arborizing neuron (type I md-da) and abdominal ventral bipolar neuron vbp (vbd); weak expression is observed in a subset of external sensory and chordotonal organs.
