mNG2(1-10) is a split fluorescent protein fragment derived from the mNG2 fluorescent protein; it contains β-strands 1-10 plus the 32 amino acid spacer of mNG2. If the mNG2(1-10) split fluorescent fragment is brought together with a complementary split fluorescent fragment (e.g. mNG2(11)) in vivo, a functional fluorescent protein may be reconstituted (PMID:28851864).
