2.5kb fragment of Mhc promoter, containing 456bp upstream of the start of transcription, the entire 5' untranslated region in the first and second exon and the first intron, drives expression of a 3.0kb SmaI-EcoRV fragment of Con cDNA containing the entire open reading frame and the SV40 polyadenylation site.
