A FLP/FRT intersectional strategy shows sex differences in expression of ScerGAL4Dh44-R1.PL in the brain and adult abdominal neuromere when combined with ScerFLP1dsx-KI.FLPG5, some of these neurons in the brain project to the adult pars intercerebralis, amongst other regions.
