The heat-shock induced paralytic phenotype characteristic for TuspG homozygous adults is rescued by expression of TuspScer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4Tusp-G (= the inherent TuspG Gal4). Expression under either Scer\GAL4shot-OK307 or Scer\GAL4ChAT.7.4 rescues the paralytic phenotype in the Df(3R)Tusp-D/Df(3R)Tusp-D deficiency mutants as well, while expression under any of the following neuronal drivers: Hsap\RELAAD.R17A04.T:Zzzz\Zip+ combined with Scer\GAL4DBD.R68A06.T:Zzzz\Zip-, Scer\GAL412862, Scer\GAL4shakB.lethal.4.1, Scer\GAL4VGlut-OK371, Scer\GAL4Toll-6-D42 or Scer\GAL4C57 fails to restore normal heat-shock resistance.
