    The anterior pair of Malpighian tubules fail to path-find correctly into the anterior half of the embryo in Df(3L)vin66 mutant animals and take up positions on either side of the midgut. Instead the anterior pair of tubules project into the posterior half of the embryo.

    Fertile when heterozygous with haync2.
