The multiple photoreceptor-R8 phenotype seen in rno1 or rno1, Rbf15aΔ eye somatic mutant clones is significantly increased in a Dl05151/+ background.

Dl05151/+ enhances the rough-eye phenotype and reduces the number of normal photoreceptors per ommatidium in flies expressing tefudsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU. Increased incidence of ommatidium fusions are observed in these animals.

The expanded wing vein phenotype seen in Dl05151/+ flies is enhanced by Mo2500274/+ and by Df(3L)81k19/+.
